"As a reward for what you have done for your friends, I will give you the ability to shape the image of your own perfect wife."
The young man was astonished at this generosity of God's and immediately started working.
He bought some clay and he started giving shape to the clay. The first image had too big a chin. The second one too small a chin. The third one too pointy. The fourth too ugly a noose. The young man spent day after day modelling his perfect wife. He spent week after week and month after month. Finally, after many, many years, when the young man no longer was a young man, but an old man of much dexterity and artistic insight after all those years of painting and modelling, the man, who once had saved his friends, said "oh, stuff this!" He made up his mind to simply marry the first woman he met who at least had some common sense. Needless to say, that failed as well. Why would there be any women with common sense, when there are no men with common sense?
